A man from Cork, Ireland, who was on a date with a woman from the UK, has shared a photo of her holding up her wedding ring while wearing a shirt that read ‘The Dubliner’.
Derek McQuade, 39, shared the photo to Instagram on Friday, which has been shared thousands of times.
In the image, he can be seen holding a white bandanna on his head, which reads ‘The #Irishman’.
He captioned the image with the phrase: ‘I’m not afraid to be honest with myself.
‘I don’t want to get any more involved in the marriage than I need to and if we were married today, I would be more open to any of the challenges.’
McQuade said the two women were ‘finally together’ and that he has not regretted getting married.
He added: ‘She’s my soul mate and it’s just so easy to date women in the UK.’
I’m so excited for the future and to share the news with my family.’
McGuire and McQuine married in June last year and the couple had three children together.
The couple are expecting their first child in March.
