WhatsApp for smartphones and tablets is arriving in the Google Play Store, with new features like the new messaging app, better photo sharing, and better voice calling.
The app has been redesigned from the ground up, with a fresh, modern look and a new user interface, and it’s powered by Google’s new Android platform, codenamed Android M. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
WhatsApp for phones WhatsApp for iPhones and Android smartphones will get the same basic features as WhatsApp for the desktop, including the app, the photo sharing features, and the ability to send voice messages.
WhatsApp is now available in the Play Store on both the iPhone and Android.
But for some, WhatsApp for tablets will offer a few new features that will make it a much more complete experience.
There’s a new feature called “Message App.”
This is a messaging app that can be opened in the WhatsApp app, but that will also be accessible through the new WhatsApp for iPad app.
It’s a simple, minimalistic messaging app for the iPad, which lets you add an emoji to each message and it syncs with your other messaging apps.
The new feature makes it easy to add an image to a message, for example, to send a photo of yourself to your friend.
Other new features include: the ability for you to set your privacy settings to your heart’s content, so your messages will be completely private
